Clarissa Dickson Wright - Refutation
Tuesday 10th October 2006
The British Carrot Growers? Association utterly refutes the statements made by Clarissa Dickson Wright about carrots in British supermarkets on Breakfast Television today 10 October 2006.
All major British supermarkets carry British carrots for 50 weeks of the year.
For a two-week window, carrots are imported, while the British season ends and the new season begins.
British carrots are now so free of pesticides that they were recently congratulated by Friends of the Earth.
